Go wild in Paradise this Bank Holiday weekend
Where have the summer holidays gone? Is it my imagination or are they shrinking? As well as being the Bank Holiday weekend, for most of us this weekend (26-28 Aug) will be the last one before school goes back. So why not come and see us at the Face Painting cabin at Paradise Wildlife Park in Broxbourne, Herts, and go a bit wild. Take your inspiration from the animals and let us transform you in to a silver leopard, lion king, tiger, butterfly or bird. We’re opposite the lemurs, from 11am every day – see you there!
Summer holidays: painting in Paradise
Team Juliet is in training for school holidays It’s only a matter of days now before school’s out for the summer, so I’ve been busy lining up a top team of face-painters at Paradise Wildlife Park for the holidays. Nams, Philly, Kate, Zoe, Heather, Brierley and Linda will all be taking turns to paint with me over the next couple of months, each one bringing their own style and expertise. So do remember to bring your loyalty card if you’ve got one, and to ask for one if you haven’t. Eight signed boxes earn you a free face-paint! You’ll find us in my face-painting cabin, opposite the lemurs. See you there…
Have your portrait taken in Paradise this week
On-the-spot animal prints John Brough of Alternative-Portraits makes a welcome return to Paradise Wildlife Park this week, on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (12, 14 & 15 April). He’ll be at my face-painting cabin to take your photo and make prints for you on the spot, with a choice of fantastic jungly backgrounds to complement your new persona as a tropical butterfly or a big cat. To see more of John’s work, check out Alternative-Portraits Photography on Facebook.

I’ll be painting at Paradise Wildlife Park (at Broxbourne, Herts) every day now until school goes back. I usually start painting faces around noon – so come and meet the big cats and other animals before choosing whether you want to be transformed into a lion, a leopard or a tiger. Or perhaps you’ll choose painted wings and be a butterfly or bird!
